Job Description

Ecolab's Project Management Organization, under the Office of the CIO, is building a team of dynamic and influential analysts, scrum masters and project managers, representing diverse backgrounds and specific business domains. This candidate will formulate and define project scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems. Responsible for understanding the technology, business processes and opportunities in the context of putting together a project plan. This person will work as a liaison with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, document, and validate requirements, ensure issues and risks are identified and mitigated and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. This candidate has a good understanding or the ability to learn multiple functions and contribute to integrating a broad range of ideas. Partners with functional leaders to create and execute on a portfolio of infrastructure strategic initiatives. This role plays a key part in working with all functional areas and fostering strong collaborative relationships with ETS and business leaders. This successful candidate must be a self-directed achiever, a strong performer, and an excellent cross-functional collaborator.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead projects focusing on on-time delivery, stakeholder communication, dependency identification, and overall project management
  • Establish close relationships with product owners and managers in order to discover and translate requirements including functional and non-functional
  • Agile learner to become a trusted subject matter expert and explorer in business domains and capabilities
  • Demonstrate the ability to be self-directing, within the construct of a team, to accomplish project objectives
  • Enjoy working with clients and internal teams to brainstorm solutions, help identify and evaluate pros and cons, and then to guide decision-making through analysis techniques
  • Exhibit curiosity and a willingness to ask questions in order to understand the "why"
  • Manage risk, issues, changes, and dependencies and take corrective action
  • Experienced with defining what is in scope and out of scope, and making sure projectartifacts represent that scope,and are understood by the project team members
  • Able to achieve proper requirements definition regardless of project methodology or framework
  • Recognize the value of clear, complete acceptance criteria in user stories; committed to making sure the solution meets all acceptance criteria
  • Value the importance of change management; able to discern the perspective of the end-users and recommend change management approaches to address those perspectives
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of initiatives, by working with others to keep current and on track
  • Appreciate the value in creating and maintaining proper documentation that will be valuable to ongoing platform management activities after the specific project effort has completed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical, engineering, finance, or business area
  • 8 years of experience as a business analyst, scrum master or project lead
  • 3 years of project management experience
  • Experience facilitating technical project meetings
  • Experience with presentation tools on web or mobile devices
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including collaboration, facilitation and influencing
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or Scrum Master Certification
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, Azure DevOps or similar
  • 1+ years agile experience
  • Ability to drive change and standardize process and procedure
  • Strong initiative and personal accountability
  • Fast learner; enjoys learning new things
  • Naturally curious and willing to ask questions
