Job Description

Think Consulting is seeking a Test Automation Architect to join an IT Solutions Consulting client.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and maintainable automated testing frameworks.
  • Collaborate with global customer stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and define test strategies.
  • Support sales team with excellent English communication skills during pre-sales product and service activities like discovery calls and Proof of Concept engagements.
  • Provide Technical Requirements for Statement of Work development.
  • Present to customers demonstrations of automation tools in our partner network and our Automation Capabilities, including frameworks.
  • Provide services to clients around automated testing and test management solutions.
  • Lead the implementation of end-to-end automated testing processes.
  • Ensure the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and modular test scripts.
  • Conduct code reviews for test automation scripts to ensure best practices and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated testing processes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in QA automation tools and methodologies.
  • Provide mentorship and training to QA team members on automation best practices.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in QA automation roles, with 10+ years desired.
  • Minimum of 3 years of consulting experience.
  • Certification or competency coding tests in automation tools, specifically Tricentis Tosca and/or OpenText UFT.
  • Experience with SoapUI and/or Selenium in addition to Tosca and/or UFT preferred.
  • Programming skills in Java and/or VBScript.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks in various industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Leadership experience in guiding and mentoring QA automation teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in QA automation roles.
  • Relevant certifications in QA automation tools (e.g., Tricentis Tosca, Selenium) are highly desirable.

WORK AUTHORIZATION: Must be eligible to work full-time in the US for any employer without requiring sponsorship for visas now or in the future.
