Are you a skilled Program Manager with a military environment background looking for a new opportunity? Look no further than Leidos! We are seeking a Program Manager to be accountable for the comprehensive services, programs, personnel, and administrative support for Fleet and Family Support Programs (FFSPs) located throughout the United States and the World .

The primary mission of each FFSP is to assist commands in achieving operational readiness, superior performance, member retention, and a reasonable quality of life for military personnel and their families. Commands and FFSPs have the common goals of keeping individuals and families resilient and strong, preventing individual and family dysfunction, facilitating personal and family self-sufficiency, and creating overall command and community well-being. FFSP has four function areas including Work and Family Life; Counseling, Advocacy, and Prevention (CAP); Sexual Assault Prevention and Response; and Navy Gold Star.

NOTE: This position is for a future opportunity. Please apply to be considered. Position is remote, but successful candidate must be located in the Greater Capitol (DC) Metro Region. (DC/VA/MD)


Your Main Objective:

  • Serving as single point of contact with authority representing Leidos with Navy Installation Command

  • Developing relationships with key operational customers and stakeholders

  • Defines and leads to key metrics and performance indicators instilling best practices and processes

  • Leads contractual discussions and modifications to include identification of areas for enhancement and risk mitigation

  • Partners with other key corporate functions to ensure effective support and timely flow of accurate and reliable business data important to managing the business

  • Executes revenue and cost objectives above expectations

  • Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards

  • Provides strategic direction and ensures planning and execution to meet and exceed contract deliverables

  • Prepares program summaries and reports scheduled and/or requested

  • Provides advice on manpower utilization, workflow, and operational procedures to increase efficiency, and productivity and make overall improvements for the program

  • Prepares requests for actions/proposals and other projects as needed

  • Ensures full compliance with all contract terms, schedules, and provisions

  • All other duties as assigned


What Sets You Apart:

  • A Master's degree from an accredited program

  • Ten or more years as a program or project manager operating a similar program

  • Demonstrable success in government contracting directing federal contracts over $200M annually through prior work in a customer-facing role

  • Experience leading diverse teams and military support program personnel in the federal sector

  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance

  • Due to federal contract needs, must be a US Citizen and speak fluent English


You Might Also:


  • Be a former Military/Veteran or Military Spouse

  • Have Ten or more years working in a military environment performing in a similar subject area (counseling, military support programs, etc.).

  • Have an active Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP), or other project management professional certification

  • Have time spent managing Navy support services programs

Pay Range:Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
