Technical Solutions Architect

As a technical solutions architect on our team, you'll use your expertise to modernize health IT by implementing, influencing, and integrating software and platform solutions for clients. Using your platform expertise, you'll work alongside key stakeholders and other consultants to share your expertise on technical ecosystems and implement transformative processes and practices.

In this role, you'll directly impact health IT by providing knowledge and expertise to define and project the future vision and how to get there. With opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing and collaborating as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:

  • 12+ years of experience with software and systems development
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms and applications
  • Experience leading and developing system architectures, software development, and operations maintenance for large, complex projects
  • Experience leading teams using Scaled Agile Framework methods and practices
  • Ability to build and develop relationships with technical leadership across teams and act as a trusted advisor
  • Ability to develop, communicate, and effectuate transformational roadmaps for cloud-based solutions, and coordinate and facilitate technical team members in overarching integration activities
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a CS, Systems Engineering, or Science
  • Associate level AWS or Microsoft Azure Cloud Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working with an e-commerce website
  • Experience working with New Relic for Application Performance Management, Splunk, Dynatrace, or AWS CloudWatch
  • Knowledge of Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services
  • Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes orchestration platform
  • Knowledge of AWS or Microsoft Azure platforms and tools
  • Ability to develop integrated solution roadmaps and holistic approaches to transform Cloud platform operations
  • Professional level AWS or Microsoft Azure Cloud Certification
  • Red Hat Container Technologies Certification such as Certified Specialist in Containers or Certified OpenShift Administrator Certification
  • Kubernetes Certification such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist, or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer Certification
  • Scaled Agile Framework Certification such as Agilist, Government, PO/PM, or DevOps Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
