Job Brief

Industrial/Organizational Psychologist Intern

DCS Corp is an employee-owned organization that performs challenging state-of-the-art research and technological development to strengthen our nation's defense and security. We conduct research and development projects in partnership with our Department of Defense customers in a variety of high demand application areas such as Autonomy, Manned-Unmanned Teaming, Artificial Intelligence, Human Systems Engineering and Modeling, Simulation & Analysis. We provide innovative solutions with our multidisciplinary teams formed with exceptional employees.

DCS Corp is seeking an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist Intern to support our Selection and Training branch. As a member of our team, you will provide support to ongoing projects.

Essential Job Functions:

Develop assessments by writing, reviewing, and revising content.

Other Duties as Assigned:

Conduct literature reviews and synthesize information.

Support data collection efforts using online survey platforms such as Qualtrics.

Perform data screening techniques needed to clean/manipulate data, including preparing data for analyses and screening for poor quality data.

Perform statistical techniques needed to validate assessments, including correlation, regression, t-tests, and descriptive statistics.

Write, review, revise R script for statistical analyses.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Current enrollment in a graduate-level I/O Psychology program.

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet qualifications for access to classified information.

A history of strong academic performance.

Ability to apply principles and theories learned from your unique degree program to assigned tasks.

Excellent written and verbal English communications skills.

Ability to work well in virtual, team-oriented environments.

Able to work at least 15 hours per week.

Available for virtual meetings and calls during standard work week (Monday - Friday between 8am-5pm Eastern Time), to be scheduled in consultation with supervisor.
