A week in the life of aFinancial Analyst:

  • Track and review project budget and deadlines with Program Manager.
  • Review invoice and payment information and resolve issues between Government and Contractor.
  • Monitor project to ensure compliance with Government funding requirements.
  • Develop weekly and monthly status reports of contract tasks and activities for submittal to Program Manager and Contracting Officer Representative.
  • Review cost center,charge code, and timesheet information.
  • Auditing project financials, coordinate and track travel requests, and helping to create presentation materials for Senior Management.
  • Assist in developing briefings, providing demonstrations, training development and/or outreach support as needed.
Job Requirements
  • DHS suitability clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
  • 8-11 years of experience in accounting, finance, and project management support.
  • Previous experience with Department of Homeland Security.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Products.
  • Strong attention to detail and writing and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
