Language Instructor - Spanish and French

This position requires a National Agency Check to be considered.

Cherokee Analytics is seeking a dual Spanish and French Language Instructor to develop, maintain, and deliver training material to drive intelligence goals, objectives, tradecraft, and standards. The Spanish and French Language Instructor will provide lesson plans, presentations, and curricula in support of educational goals and maintain materiel within the assigned educational system.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay commensurate with experience.

Language Instructor - Spanish and French Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver training material to drive intelligence goals, objectives, tradecraft, and standards
  • Provide lesson plans, presentations, and curricula in support of educational goals and maintains materiel within the assigned educational system
  • Review emerging policy and doctrine publications, provides feedback, and assesses for incorporation into training products
  • Develops and maintain training records and tracking systems as required or designated by the Government
  • Provide direct language instruction to assigned and attached personnel
  • Train using job-related and general language materials that are designed to remediate, sustain, and enhance both mission-language skills and global language skills
  • Develop language training curricula to meet training objectives
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Language Instructor - Spanish and French Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • National Agency Check
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Spanish and French languages
  • Knowledge of culture and military aspects of the Spanish and French languages
  • Minimum tested score of 3/3/3 proficiency on a DLPT or 3/3 equivalent on an equivalent testing standard
  • Native fluency in Spanish and French languages
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experiences
  • Ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced
  • Ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction
  • Ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution
  • Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
