Step into Your New Role

Kleinfelder has an exciting opportunity available for 2 Talent Coordinators to be based in our East Division operation, reporting to the East Division Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). These positions will be a critical role in our total talent initiative.

Position Responsibilities

The focus of the role will be on managing the new talent acquisition process for the East Division, a team of 1100+ professionals. This will involve working with our hiring managers, corporate HR recruiting team, external staffing agencies, and divisional leadership to ensure there is a holistic approach to identifying needed staff; setting talent acquisition strategy (e.g., internal recruiting team, external recruiters, staffing agencies, campus recruiting, etc.); and ensuring hiring managers are engaged in a high value means at critical points in the hiring process, to complete a successful new talent acquisition outcome.

Specific tasks/activities may include the following:

    Development of Area-specific and Division hiring plans using current fiscal year plans and anticipated turnover to ensure sufficient staff are available to execute work.
  1. Keep hiring plans in "living" format to reflect real time changes to our business situation and strategy.
  2. Work with counterparts in Kleinfelder to continuously improve Kleinfelder Best Practices, SOPs, and expectations for hiring managers and hiring process.
  3. Ensure recruiters and hiring managers are actively progressing the open requisitions to successfully close position in the least amount of time.
  4. Manage the East Division campus recruiting program.
  5. Manage East Division Skillbridge program.
  6. Other talent support within operations including exit interviews, assist with onboarding and general HR support as determined by the East Division HRBP.

Education

  • Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or HR certificate required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience

  • 8+ years related generalist HR experience, with at least 3 years focused on talent acquisition.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations for designated areas including COBRA, Section 125, ERISA, FMLA, Disability and/or Workers Compensation.

Certification/Registration:

  • PHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

Other Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of HRIS systems, UKG Pro and iCIMS experience preferred.
  • Good communication skills and knowledge of company operations and products required.

This position may require work on projects requiring full vaccination from COVID-19. If that is the case, you will be required to show proof of vaccination or an acceptable exemption in order to work on the project.
