The Team - Enterprise & Cloud Applications

Our Enterprise & Cloud Applications team is comprised of functional and technical experts tackling the challenges that come with implementing, optimizing, and maintaining cloud investments. Whether implementing a cloud solution or enhancing and extending an existing cloud environment, we help organizations get the most out of technology investments, including New System and Module Implementations, System Integrations, Upgrade Assessments, Application Upgrades, and Business Process Optimization.

Your Impact

  • Perform in a leadership role (functional role and solution architect) and help to shape the strategic direction of the Cloud & Enterprise Apps practice within our Financial Services vertical.
  • Educate internal and external audiences on ERP best practices within Financial Services with a particular focus on banking, FinTech, and insurance.
  • Responsible for helping to shape the strategic direction of the Financial Services practice.
  • Responsible for driving business development, both by expanding and growing existing accounts and pursuing new client opportunities for the firm.
  • Lead project teams, share your individual subject matter expertise, and be a primary liaison to our clients.
  • Create and deliver presentations on technical concepts, project work plans, delivery approach, milestones, and results to client stakeholders and customers at senior executive levels.
  • Review team progress to ensure compliance with work program and professional standards.
  • Educate internal and external audiences on best practices.
  • Mentor and develop team members.
  • Actively participate in career development activities and technical training of staff.

Your Experience

At a minimum, you will have:

  • 5+ years direct Oracle Cloud, Workday and/or SAP implementation, upgrade, and support experience.
  • 10+ years of experience with at least 3 years of recent client-facing experience in a large professional services organization. Additional years of experience may includehighly relevant industry experience with major financial services or technology companies.
  • Deep experience and relationships within the Financial Services industry, preferably banking (consumer, card, or commercial banking) and/or FinTech.
  • Experience with multiple, full life-cycle implementations within the Financial Services industry.
  • Specific experience around one or more of the following: loan accounting, derivatives, segment accounting in financial services, deposits, NII/NIM, regulatory reporting (Call Report, Y9C) and/or other key financial services reporting requirements.
  • Familiar with integrating core banking subledger systems into the GL, such as FIS, Fiserv, TSYS, Jack Henry.
  • Hands on experience with the following processes: Procure to pay (Procurement, Accounts Payable), Quote to Cash (Lending, Capital Markets, Deposits, Investments, Insurance, etc.), Inventory, Fixed Assets, General ledger, Professional Services, Contract Management, Cash Disbursements / Cash Receipts.
  • Strong track record of meeting business development targets and developing thought leadership materials within the financial services space.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and build teams that deliver services and solutions that surpass client expectations.
  • Ability to lead workshops, including the gathering/documenting of requirements and use-cases and recommendation of envisioned processes.
  • Strong business skills and experience in accounting, finance or operations in financial services.
  • Ability to assess functional and technical gaps in designs.
  • Ability to define and articulate Business Benefits and Costs.
  • Experience developing detailed work plans for project activities within scope of application responsibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, IT, or related field.
  • Flexibility to accommodate at least 25% travel.

Preferably, you will have:

  • Oracle ERP or Workday Financials certifications.
  • Experience managing technical development by acting as a liaison between the technical team and the user community.
  • CPA or MBA.
