Job Description

Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for reporting and compliance activities performed within the US Government Compliance team. Responsibilities range from set up and maintenance within SAP to providing data to support necessary reporting requirements. This role regularly interacts with mid to senior level management in the areas of Accounting and Finance, Operations, and Information Technology Services to discuss and resolve issues or recommend improved business practices and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Material mapping and maintenance and project setup including maintenance within SAP
  • Labor reconciliations, labor transfers, payroll, and timesheet reviews
  • Various business system and controls audits
  • Assist process owners with policies and procedures reviews
  • Complete annual incurred cost proposal
  • Gather information and complete scheduled reports and required filings
  • Gather information and complete required surveys, procurement fee payments, and other government reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or in a related area with an Accounting Certificate and a minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting, federal consulting advisory, or equivalent experience; or a Master's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 6 years of prior experience
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
  • High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, negotiating, reasoning, and problem solving
  • Ability to develop strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs
  • US Citizenship

Recommended Qualifications

  • SAP experience or other major ERP system
  • Experience with a public accounting firm and/or corporate industry experience, with emphasis on financial and accounting applications controls
  • Master's degree in Accounting or a related area

$78,520$131,040 USD
