What You'll Do:

The Senior Flight Clearance Analyst will support NAVAIR's Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office (PMA-262) at NAS Pax River, MD. This program manages the development, production, fielding, and sustainment of the ACAT-1D Triton (MQ-4C) Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS). This position will be on-site at NAS Patuxent River with limited opportunity for telework.


In this role, you will perform the following duties:

  • Generate, document, staff, and release USN Interim Flight Clearances and Flight Clearance Recommendations (FCR) for cooperative partners
  • Utilizing E-Power to generate airworthiness documentation
  • Develop chop sheets for flight clearance review and approval
  • Process NATOP/NATIP changes and support publication release cycles
  • Apply analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives
  • Analyze requirements, status, budget, and schedules
  • Perform management, technical, or business case analyses
  • Collect, complete, organize, and interpret data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs
  • Track program/project status and schedules
  • Apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management

Requirements

Who You Are:

The Senior Flight Clearance Analyst will have the following education, skills, and experience:

  • A bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of related experience, or an associate's degree and 14 years of related experience, required
  • Experience supporting a NAVAIR or DoD program is desired
  • Prior experience with UAS platforms is desired

Security Clearance Requirements: This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Top Secret clearance in the future if required.
