JOB SUMMARY:

Truth Initiative is seeking a Director, Influencer Marketing who can oversee and implement social and influencer marketing campaigns to increase awareness and engagement, and drive cessation efforts for the truth brand. This role involves collaborating with our social agency to develop and execute influencer partnerships. The Director of Influencer Marketing will also track and analyze campaign success and report to Sr Leadership. The ideal candidate will know the latest trends and best practices to ensure Influencer campaigns are effective and innovative.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (*ESSENTIAL DUTIES):
  • Influencer Marketing Strategy:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive influencer marketing strategy aligned with truth's overall marketing objectives.*
    • Identify and build relationships with key influencers and agencies.
  • Influencer Campaign Development and Execution:
    • Plan and execute influencer campaigns that align with the brand messaging and goals.*
    • Keep colleagues informed about the status of projects, insights and results through monthly progress reports and presentations.
    • Work with the internal analytics team to measure the progress of campaigns and provide regular updates to leadership.*
  • Cultural Initiatives:
    • Identify and lead experiential marketing activations that drive GenZ quit intentions.
    • Collaborate with publishers, media and brand partners to create custom content that increases quit intentions.*
  • Budget Management:
    • Manage the budget for influencer marketing and culture projects, ensuring optimal resource allocation and ROI.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Monitor and measure the performance of influencer campaigns and culture projects, providing regular reports, insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
    • Establish success metrics for culture connection work by defining clear success criteria that align with culture and influencer marketing.*
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with internal teams including Innovations, Media, SI and Communications to ensure influencer campaigns and culture projects are integrated seamlessly into broader marketing initiatives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field and a minimum of 7 to 10 years of marketing experience.
  • Proven track record of successful team management and leadership.
  • Proven experience in influencer marketing and cultural initiatives, with a successful track record of driving results.
  • Strong understanding of current trends, pop culture, and the ability to identify relevant cultural moments for brand integration.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with influencers and partners.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in utilizing data and analytics tools for performance measurement.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative campaigns that stand out in the market.

This position is based in Washington, D.C. with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office and two telework days.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

The salary range for this role is starting at $105,000 to $115,000 on a national basis.Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, relevant work experience, skillset, internal equity, location, and certifications, consistent with applicable law.Salaryis just one part of our total rewards package which additionally includes equity, performance bonus for eligible roles, and competitive benefits.
