The Director of Finance will be responsible for the following job duties that include but are not limited to the following:

  • Preserve and maintain all hotel assets and records.
  • Prepare monthly Income Statements which record all revenues and expenses in the proper period including accruals for anticipated charges.
  • Prepare or review all monthly Balance Sheet Reports which accurately reflect Assets, Liabilities and Equity.
  • Timely and accurate recording, filing and payment of all hotel tax obligations.
  • Promote technological advances and operational efficiencies.
  • Support Corporate and Task Force requests when possible.
  • The responsibilities of the Director of Finance include but are not limited to the following:
  • Coordination and oversight of all hotel financial activity.
  • Implement and monitor effective policies and procedural controls throughout hotel in compliance with Crescent standards and guidelines.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with Crescent guidelines.
  • Provide financial leadership and mentoring with all key hotel personnel.
  • Provide timely and well composed forecasts and budgets with the full involvement of the Executive Committee.
  • The Finance department will fulfill all duties associated with providing a high quality guest experience.
  • The Director of Finance will communicate on a timely basis to the General Manager of all potential favorable or unfavorable budget or profit exposures or opportunities.
