Job Description Summary

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for performing financial modeling and analysis for the Loan Fund, as well as, collaborating with the Treasurer, Senior Investment Officer and Senior Director, Capital Programs to manage multiple lender/investor relationships and associated operational requirements. Responsibilities include performing analysis necessary to manage liquidity and interest rate risk. They will support the Capital team in raising and renewing lending capital (debt). The role will also collaborate with the Director of Loans Operations around data management for the Capital team and identifying and leading Salesforce improvements for capital management.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assists in managing the level of cash and associated interest expenses. Includes ensuring adequate cash and borrowing capacity to meet liquidity demands, matching the terms of loan product offerings and cash flow forecasting. Develop and maintain tracking mechanism for loan disbursements and repayments.
  • Handles operational aspects of capital management for both on and off-balance sheet funds including executing draws and repayments and closing new or renewing debt and impact notes.
  • Performs modeling and prepares reports to measure and manage interest rate and liquidity risk.
  • Provides and tracks loan pricing.
  • Coordinates the production of routine financial and portfolio reporting requests to creditors and responds to ad hoc creditor, rating agency, and other stakeholder requests for information.
  • Assists in developing forecasts and budgets for Loan Fund.
  • Over time, this position may review, structure, negotiate and close loans to Loan Fund. Build and develop relationships with banks, foundations, and other socially minded investors. May manage a group of investors.
  • Represents Enterprise Community Loan Fund to external parties, with particular focus on ensuring the accuracy of data produced by multiple departments, and expertise in presenting Enterprise's financial position.
  • Collaborates with the SVP/Treasurer and senior portfolio analyst to develop PowerPoint presentations for internal stakeholders (boards and senior management) and external stakeholders (S&P, Aeris, investors/partners).
  • Serves as Salesforce lead for the Capital Management team, including identifying areas of improvement and modifications, collaborating with appropriate parties to enact changes and managing the accuracy of Capital Management's data in the system.
  • Provides all information requested related to the capital and liquidity position and other due diligence materials required as part of the annual Aeris review process.
  • Works closely with the Senior Director Capital Programs to support ongoing management of Enterprise Community Impact Note. May include marketing, preparation of annual prospectus updates, Salesforce / CRM process improvements and ongoing reporting. Creates, updates and analyzes quarterly capital dashboard and provides input for other dashboards to the senior portfolio analyst.
  • From time to time, the Treasury Analyst fulfills other responsibilities as assigned that support Loan Fund's work.

Qualifications/Skills Needed

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field is required.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles is required.
  • Preference for 4+ years of experience in financial analysis. MBA may substitute for up to 2 years' experience.
  • Expert computer aptitude skills, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Programs is essential. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software a plus.
  • Ability to learn to create and maintain reports in Salesforce.
  • Ability to spread and analyze corporate financial statements is required.
  • Experience with manipulating data utilizing advanced level Excel is required.
  • High degree of attention to detail is required along with strong analytical skills.
  • Must be able to effectively display data and information via charts/graphs or PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks in high pressure situations.
  • Knowledge and interest of general real estate lending, affordable housing and community development is a plus.
  • Previous banking, CDFI and /or nonprofit experience a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking as well as oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and work cross functionally with other departments is essential.

The base salary for this role is $90,000 to $110,000, depending on level of skills and experience.

The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance.
