Description

Performs technical duties required to operate the master control signal distribution center; serves as a technician for the signal routing and distribution of broadcast and streaming media.

Qualifications

Required

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or possession of a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) certificate.
• Three (3) years of progressively more responsible experience working with television production and computer-based master control operations, two (2) years of which shall have been at a level requiring independent judgment.
• Knowledge in programming databases of automated distribution systems.
• Knowledge of software control systems, digital satellite systems, and on-air operations programming.
• Familiarity with multiple media file formats and encoding functions.
• Ability to maintain accurate media archives.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Salary Range

$54,983 - $92,813
