Job Description:

The Program Data Supervisor requires aptitude for database management and program compliance/regulation. The incumbent will be the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) Administrator for HOC, review data entry, run reports and monitor for quality assurance using WellSky's Community Services/ServicePoint and Yardi. The position will assist in developing program policies, procedures and forms related to quality assurance and program development. The incumbent will be responsible for all program reporting, metrics and HUD CoC Grant renewals. Responsible for supervision of unit staff; Housing Locator, Housing Specialist, and Administrative Aide and any temps working in these capacities.

The work requires exercise of independent judgment to interpret and evaluate data or information, weigh alternatives to determine eligibility of applicants or acceptability of housing and make recommendations to the team on how to improve performance. The employee is given overall program objectives and priorities and is expected to carry out daily activities with little supervision except supervisory assistance with unusual problems. Guidelines are available in the form of Federal, State and local laws and regulations. The employee's work has a direct bearing on the outcomes of the MCK Permanent Supportive Housing program.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of data management and reporting, to include supervisory experience.

Education:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics or related field with strong interest in Health and Human Services type of work.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have high level computer skills (HMIS, Excel, Yardi a plus) with the ability to interpret and manipulate data
  • Understand statistics and research methods
  • Must have strong communication skills and positive energy
  • Must have the ability to relate well to people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Must have familiarity with eligibility and procedures for federal and state entitlement programs
  • Must possess excellent assessment, oral and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to work independently, meet deadlines and exercise good judgment
  • Must have good driving record, and own transportation is required
  • Strong knowledge working in Excel or Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong presentation skills
  • Knowledge of landlord tenant laws, regulations, HUD CoC programs is a plus.
  • Grant writing skills preferred.
  • Prior work in a Social Services Environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Permanent Supportive Housing program regulations and procedures is a plus.
