Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Army National Guard Interstate Transfer Support Specialist to manage, coordinate, and assist Army National Guard personnel in the transition between losing state and gaining state recruiting and retention offices.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

    Track and assist as needed, interstate transferring soldiers from the losing state to the gaining state.
  • Use the IST Module to monitor the timely and accurate transfer of ARNG Soldiers from one state or territory to another daily.
  • Use the IST Module and AUVS vacancy reports to report both gains and losses within the ARNG 54 State Recruiting and Retention Commands and State units.
  • Provide 100% accountability of Soldiers in the IST process to reduce the chances of attrition.
  • Coordinate departure of transferring ARNG Soldier's with the losing state recruiting and retention office and follow-up via email by forwarding the Soldier's contact information to the gaining recruiting and retention office.
  • Summarize, consolidate a TSS Weekly Report unless otherwise directed by the COR.
  • Contact and provide reports on Active Component to Reserve Component (AC2RC) Soldiers accessed by RCCC across all 54 states and territories.
  • Provide relevant data from the previous work week's AC2RC Soldier contact efforts.
Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with ARNG Soldiers and various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data using tools like IST Module and AUVS vacancy reports to track and report gains and losses within the ARNG 54 State Recruiting and Retention Commands and State units.
  • Ability to maintain 100% accountability of Soldiers in the IST process and take necessary actions to reduce attrition.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 -3 years of related experience.
  • Prior experience with Army National Guard.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Active Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
