Job Description
Ellumen, named a Top Workplace by the Washington Post, is a small business headquartered in Silver Spring, MD. We provide a broad spectrum of information technology and ancillary services to government and commercial customers primarily within the healthcare delivery domain. We seek a remote Trainer to develop, implement, and deliver training across multiple mediums.

Responsibilities:
  • Work to support efforts to train and document features and functionalities of the VAiSAMS system. 
  • Identify areas that need improving or updating, and then finding solutions to problems. These tasks include analysis, designing and supporting learning workshops, and training session, documenting required changes, and communicating those changes to stakeholders. 
  • Consult with other trainers, managers, and leadership support and develop conceptualizing training materials.
  • Communicate training needs, virtual simulations, and online resources. 
  • Test and review created materials.  
  • Support other instructing team members on training in area of expertise. 
  • Conduct virtual and on-site training to stakeholders as required.
  • Requires the ability to obtain a Federal security clearance

Required Experience/Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five + years of experience as a trainer
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in material management.
  • Ability to acquire new system competencies, work methods, business processes and development of training materials.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in complex situations.
  • A forward-thinking and innovative mindset, with a passion for driving technological advancements within the organization.
  • Experience with DoD and/or VA medical logistics/supply chain management.
