We are seeking an accomplished and seasoned Logistic Admin/Manager to join our organization in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment. The ideal candidate will provide accurate inventory and accounting of government furnished equipment supporting Life Cycle logistics. Provided end to end accountability and "excellent customer service" in various roles with increasing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support worldwide military and civilian sites for multiple government programs by providing logistics, lifecycle asset management, and DRMO services. Serve as one of the primary POC coordinating between CONUS and OCONUS sites and the Government office.
  • Help coordinated with Project and Program Managers to ensure equipment shipments as part of the project schedules critical path did not impact the timeline or scope.
  • Develop release schedules of equipment based on install schedules to support large scale (5,000 plus sites) upgrades of sites hardware and software.
  • Create release documents (CLIN sheets) and track shipments of all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) from warehouse to and from client sites worldwide.
  • Provide detailed reporting and delivery status of all components shipping ensuring the ability to identify locations of and physical accountability at any point in transit.
  • Responsible for both internal and cross-customer communications coordination, deployment, disposal, and reassignment of Government assets for sites.
  • Coordinate shipments with military personnel to ensure on-time arrival of all items, detailed reporting, and receipts to ensure no loss of operational tempo.
  • Prepare detailed documentation to include Requisition and Invoice\Shipping form DD-1149s and other reports and maintain accurate records reflecting property custody using the (ServiceNow) system and other Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) management reporting systems.
  • Help serve as the resolution point for all inbound/outbound GFE issues arising from client sites.
  • Identify, analyze, and recommended process improvements to problems encountered by deployed staff with regards to work processes/workloads such that they could be corrected before the issue became significant.
  • Monitor transportation carriers to ensure established Service Level Agreements (SLA) were met and would not impact installations or decommissioning activities.
  • Resolve daily issue escalations from clients and consistently deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction to sites.
  • Help prepare monthly contractual deliverables, and as needed ad hoc reports to peers, supervisors and executives concerning the status of logistics activities, risks, and mitigation actions.
Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 0 - 2 years of experience.
  • Some experience in a logistics role.
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required, or the ability to obtain. Preference will be given to those applicants with an active DoD Secret Clearance. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels are required.
  • A professional attitude regarding attention to detail, customer service, excellent organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
