Custodial Services Manager

Job Description Summary

The Custodial Services Manager is responsible for the supervision, inspection, and control of all assigned custodial and related services associated with assigned contract.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct and manage all custodial and pest control personnel and contractors and the work effort for all custodial and pest control services
  • Oversee and manage custodial work schedule and pest control schedule
  • Oversee execution of the Emergency Response Plan, Safety Plan, and Environmental Compliance Plan
  • Oversee and maintain the applicable custodial Hazards Material Inventory
  • Interface with the client orally and in writing
  • Draft reports
  • Use innovation, technology, and other means and methods to develop and perform the most efficient cleaning services for the building
  • Reduce the environmental impacts of work performed under the contract by using environmentally sound practices, processes, and products
  • Assist the client in managing the recycling program
  • Manage and provide oversight for non-hazardous waste removal

REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and/or Experience):

  • A high school, vocational school, or trade school diploma or equivalent
  • 10 years of experience in facilities management or custodial related work
  • Currently possess or able to obtain a TS or TS/SCI security clearance
