Provide data collection and analysis to support the U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers Networks & Cybersecurity program in developing, interpreting, and implementing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines for control systems installed on CVN 68/78 Class Aircraft Carriers. Primary responsibilities include working with all Carrier (CVN) stakeholders to constantly identify shortfalls and status in all matters pertaining to CVN cybersecurity awareness, incident response, and configuration management/control ushering changes in the security posture of all shipboard control systems. Work with all Carrier (CVN) stakeholders to constantly identify shortfalls and status in all matters pertaining to CVN cybersecurity awareness, incident response, and configuration management/control ushering changes in the security posture of all shipboard control systems.
Implement and apply technologies, processes, and practices designed to protect networks, devices, programs, and data from malicious attack, damage, or unauthorized access.
Provide intrusion support to high technology investigations in the form of network assessments.
Design, develop or recommend integrated system solutions ensuring proprietary/confidential data and systems are protected in accordance with mandated standards.
Participate with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs.
Develop and maintain a cybersecurity dashboard to track the implementation of Risk Management Framework within designated enclaves across the Aircraft Carrier Fleet.
Design and implement plans of action and milestones to remediate findings from vulnerability and risk assessments.
Facilitate coordination of the Carrier Network and Cybersecurity Working Group (CNCWG).
Qualifications:
Degree from accredited University or military IT background.
3-5 years of experience in Financial analysis, technical analysis, production analysis, data analysis, and/or project management skills, knowledge of cybersecurity and/or engineering in a DoD program.
Technical and financial knowledge for program management support
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
Experience working in a DoD, military program.
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
DoD Directive 8570.1 IAT Level II or higher certification
Cybersecurity experience is a necessary
Navy acquisition experience on an ACAT 1 Program is a plus.
US Navy or Marine Corps experience is a plus.
Sec+ Security Credential required.
