Job Description

To assist in the implementation of a preventative maintenance program and to perform all assigned duties; to ensure that all City Schools buildings are kept in a condition of operating excellence.

Essential Functions
  • Cleans and performs basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs on unit ventilators, and air handling units.
  • Assists Stationary Engineer(s) with maintenance and operations of building equipment.
  • Performs upkeep of boilers and mechanical rooms.
  • Maintains simple record of daily operations.
  • Performs and promotes all activities in compliance with equal employment and nondiscrimination policies; follows federal laws, state laws, school board polices and the professional standards.
Maximum Salary 21.10
Minimum Salary 18.07
Desired Qualifications
  • Completion of sixth grade or higher. High School diploma preferred.
  • Ability to maintain records.
  • Ability to read and write.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
