Job Description

The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Communication Manager with an active Top Secret Clearance for a facilities engineering program to support a federal Agency in Washington D.C.

The Communication Manager's responsibilities are as follows, to include but not limited to:

  • Develop communication plans for the dissemination of relevant information to the staff regarding the status of the project, notifications of interruption to daily activities, potential outages, off -hour's works, etc.
  • Create communications templates for the various means of communications to include: a building wide website, posters, TV monitor communications, boards, and presentations.
  • Develop and manage communications to internal stakeholders.

Required:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • 4-6 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated work experience in strategic and tactical communications
  • Strong proficiency with target audience analysis, channel analysis, executing and measuring the performance and effectiveness of communications strategies
  • Experience in designing and executing digital communications campaigns
  • Experience managing multiple tasks, prioritizing and managing time effectively
  • Demonstrates success at delivering presentations in an informative and succinct manner and addressing questions and feedback professionally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
