The Office of Student Financial Support at Johns Hopkins University seeks to hire an Assistant Director, Financial Aid & Scholarships to help support the university's mission to bring the most talented, creative, and ambitious students to the Hopkins community regardless of financial circumstances. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and innovative professional, with outstanding interpersonal skills, a commitment to the principles of access and diversity, and providing the best customer service and student support experience to our families. Reporting to the Financial Aid Operations Manager for Advising, this position is responsible for managing and processing a portion of the total number of need-based financial aid applications received by the Office of Student Financial Support and management of financial aid programs. Occasional travel to high schools, conferences, and admission events is required. Some evening and weekend work required.
This position offers a hybrid work model, candidates must have the ability to participate in meetings, receive and make phone calls, work on campus as required, and attend in-person training and conferences, as needed.
