Description

The Director of Marketing leads a team of Marketing and Bid Specialists to establish, develop, execute and drive a market strategy that aligns with company mission and objectives in service of the evolving needs of our clients. Our Marketing and bid administration team oversees events, brand, communications, digital / media, showroom and client experience.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  

  • Develop & execute a strategic marketing plan & budget aligned with company objectives
  • Direct and oversee all brand standards throughout the organization
  • Establish an effective communications strategy (internal & external)
  • Supervise customer outreach and content delivery via website, social media, email campaigns, advertising, etc.  Implement      annual content calendar and forecast
  • Develop unique content and over see proposal and RFP copy 
  • Direct team on educating employees on content, uses, timelines and expected output
  • Develop and manage strategic external partnerships as required
  • Responsible for overall customer experience 
  • Lead planning and execution for both internal and external events
  • Gather and analyze data about market conditions and competitors 
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
  • Keep up to date on current marketing trends and technologies
  • Work collaboratively with sales leaders to create a results driven, team environment
  • Manage Bid Administration process, including brand standardization, form, graphic design and pricing      strategy
  • Other duties as assigned

Training, Education, Experience, Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing / Communications preferred  
  • Minimum 15+ years of marketing experience with minimum of 5 years leading marketing team 
  • Bid Administration Experience Preferred
  • Experience managing teams in service to individual member strengths
  • Strong positioning skills with an affinity for social media / digital trends
  • Broad knowledge of integrated marketing communications and tools
  • Highly proactive and able to research / present solutions to complex issues
  • Strong critical thinking, planning, collaboration and execution skills
  • Knowledge of market trends and consumer preferences
  • Ability to work with different stakeholders within the business (C-Suite, department leads, end users, etc.)
  • Proven experience engaging with external agencies and large vendor contracts
